I'm hosting a sleepover for 5 girls and am not sure I have enough planned. They're ordering pizza and will make snow cones. Outside of that, I've got nothing.
Should I take them to the movies? Any recommendations / ideas are much appreciated. |

You will need earplugs. 11 yo girls are loud AF.
I don’t think you need to take to movies, you should have a few movie suggestions on hand though. If they have phones what are the phone rules as far as picture/video taking? |

Don’t take them out. Movie at home. Spa supplies to do face masks, mani pedis if your DD and her friends are into that. Karaoke if they are less self conscious or at least comfortable being silly around each other.
Making your own snow cones or ice cream sundaes is a great idea. |

two or three movies picked out that they can choose from -- bday girl is tiebreaker if needed
board games and card games bead bracelet making supplies (or friendship bracelet string or gimp) |
| Agreed with strong phone rules if some of the girls have them. Communicate those to parents ahead of time. "In our house, phones are turned in at 830pm." |
| They will just want to hang out. Unstructured time is good for them. |
| Watch movies, phones in a basket that they have access to in case they want to text their parents, hair stuff, nail stuff (but a huge blanket in case they spill which they will), games. |
| My kid had a sleepover for her 12th birthday a little while ago. I got them food and they ate and watched movies and giggled all night. There was a lot of singing. They really didn't need activities. |
| Fun snacks and stuff to make bracelets. That’s plenty. |
| Face masks and nail stuff if they like that stuff. |

They need very little to entertain themselves! At 11 a gaggle of girls just need each other lol
Make sure they have movies skincare products but pretty much if not they can make themselves comfortable! |
