I'm not sure why but all the sunscreens I've tried always leave a white cast (or is it called pilling?) on my face so I'm really trying to find one that goes on like a standard moisturizer. I've tried so many different brands of chemical sunscreens and ultra-sheer tints (from Goop to drug store brands to K beauty) so am not sure what to try next.. Also, because I know someone will say this, I'm moisturizing/hydrating well before applying the sunscreen so I don't think it's bc of dryness.
Any recs welcome, TIA! |
I love Elta MD or if you want something that could act as a tinted moisturizer, Colorscience. |
The goop unseen sunscreen doesn't leave a white cast, and even works for mean with some beard growth. It is a little greasy but soaks in fine. |
Elta MD the original version. Not the clear and not the tinted. The original. |
The mineral ones generally leave white cast. The chemical ones shouldn’t. Like the pp, I like the supergoop unseen sunscreen. And you can get cheaper version of it at Trader Joe’s |
White cast and pilling are two very different things so I'm not sure we really know what your actual issue is. What is the problem? |
coola is reef safe and smells great |
I love Nivea super water gel spf 50. It’s a Japanese one not sold here, but available on Amazon. I have combo skin and have used this for years |
Elta MD clear is the best! |
Eucerin moisturizer with SPF 50 works well for me. It is white like a regular cream but doesn’t leave a residue. |
Trader Joe’s supergoop dupe. I love it. |
I like Live Tinted's sunscreen - specifically made for women of color, so no white caste. |
