I’m using Inito for the first time this month (also turning 35 this month). I stopped hormonal birth control two months ago and have not conceived in either cycle. I’m using Inito primarily to ensure I’m actually ovulating since I took BC for a solid two decades. Any experience with the app and monitor? Thanks. |
I've just started using it too, after seeing what their chart looked like online. It looks really easy to use and interesting. Previously I was using Proov Complete, which also tests for FSH, estrogen, LH and progesterone, but their graph is harder to read.
I think all these trackers are probably useful at identifying and confirming ovulation, but perhaps less useful at measuring actual hormone levels, which means they may not interpret complicated cycles with several LH peaks or non-typical hormone fluctuations. Example from this month, I've compared Proov and Inito measurements over the last few days, and one says my estrogen is at around 100ng/ml (trended downward then now going up), and the other says my estrogen is at more than 300ng/ml (trending continually upwards). So not only are the numbers different, but the trends are different too! It's only been a few days, so I'll see what if they agree on the LH peak and progesterone rise later on. I contacted both firms, and no response, BTW... |
