St. Anselm Head south to K Street for casual Indian at Indigo |

Indigo and Laos in Town are our faves.
Caprese sandwich at Union Market is shockingly good as is the coffee at Blue Bottle (though pricey) We also enjoy La Cosecha, particularly the impossible empanadas and the tequenos. |
| +1 to St Anselm. |
| L'ardente is good. I think that's NOMA-ish. |

There's a Menomale in Noma. Haven't been there, but we like the original further NE.
Big Bear Cafe is a cool coffee shop with good food (but check ahead, they don't always have meals). For casual sandwich and cookies but not much seating, Uncle Chips is good. Tacos at las Gemelas at La Cosecha. More upscale is sushi and Japanese at o-ku in Union market area. |
