We have a bay window at our kitchen. The shape is so odd, what do people use that area for? I have looked around for bay window shaped furniture or cabinet for extra storage, and I have found nothing unless it is custom built. It is a townhouse kitchen bay window. Am I missing some websites that there is no furniture I could buy to fit that bay window? |
I use it for plants |
I've also seen it used for photos |
Agree on plants, especially herbs. |
We use the below part as shelving - cookbooks and trivets, and appliances in the cabinet that don't get used often like food processor. We use the top for both plants, and displaying cards. |
You can just build shelving for use against a bay window. Just hire a contractor. |
A breakfast nook with a round table |
I have seen several uses for the bay window setup, but I suspect that is the most common. We have a round breakfast table in ours. |
+2. Also, even though we have a dining room, we use the breakfast nook almost exclusively for eating. |
