Please explain to me like I'm five why there are still product shortages like Tide mountain spring liquid, Citrucel sugar free powder, Philly Angus burger patties, shredded wheat (on and off) heavy whipping, vitamins, Philly cream cheese...and if you are also having trouble finding your products please list which ones? Thank you! |
My store was out of Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes today. |
To drive up prices |
Use Amazon never any shortages |
Plenty of shortages on amazon. |
Cream cheese is always in hot demand around the holidays because people use it a lot for baking. I haven’t noticed it being out of stock at other times of year though. |
That's what tides plan was. On sale it was $12.99 when in stock now its out of stock all the time and when it comes back in its $26 same size too!!! Then sold out almost instantly so people are paying that high of a price for it. |
Surely the cream cheese makers know this based on past years, and could have ramped up production? |
The pain relief medication I need post-surgery hasn't been available for weeks, per CVS and I'm putting off surgery because of this. I don't know why they aren't just ... making more. |
The things that annoy me the most are when basic OTC medication like children’s Tylenol is hard to find. It seems to have gotten better, but last winter I had to scour multiple stores for any sort of kids’ acetaminophen. |
It seems like no one is ramping up production on any of the products that are constantly out of stock or on backorder. |
Same with cars. They are deliberately not making enough. |
I recently got a cpap machine, which requires distilled water. Finding it can be very challenging. I now buy a couple jugs if I see it, even if I don't need any yet. |
I haven’t had trouble finding vitamins, heavy cream or distilled water. I don’t buy any of the other stuff listed. |
Eye drops. Can anyone update? It was all rage and recalls, then nothing. The links never listed specific drops like Similasan, only parent company. CVS and others have nothing except their own brands, yet the drugstore brands are the ones on recall lists. |
