| FCV is trying to make a lot of changes to their system. I'm guessing CC sees a dead end and wants to hop on a new train before its too late. FCV is a sinking ship. |

| Yes, CC has left FCV. For Revolution. Done deal. Clearly Revolution is looking to reunite some former FCV legends - Marvin, Christian and possibly Gus. FCV is heading over the cliff in terms of their setup up North in Ashburn area. I suspect they bank on the TSJ facility and their futsal program as a hub to move the whole program to that area (future merger with SYC or LMVSC, anyone?) in a few years after their hugely successful girls teams age out & BP departs. Just a guess. |

Gus. Never met a guy that didn’t like a good swindle like him. Promises to be a coach then shows up for 25% of practices while making a parent fill in for him. Ha! But I’ve got some futsal skills to sell ya …

5 years from now all the parents on this board’s kids will be done with travel soccer and the next corp of bright eyed naive parents will be separated from their money. The clubs will tell them how “elite” their 10 years is and development is key. Yet in 5 years, huge time investment and lots of money given to the clubs those “elite” players will be mediocre soccer players. A very few will go off to play mediocre to bad soccer in college. |
