Sequence / Weight Watchers Clinic

Has anyone used Sequence (now called Weight Watchers Clinic)? Wondering what the sign up process is like… how long did it take to have the initial consultation? Can you cancel and get a refund if the meds they prescribe are too expensive or not covered by insurance? Thx

Do they not provide this information before you sign up?

Just know now ... they will be too expensive and not covered by insurance.

I’ve used Sequence for Wegovy since May. It has been seamless. They handled insurance and got preapproval through Blue Cross.

Can you tell me a little bit about the process? Do you do bloodwork? Is everything done online? How long did it take to get the approval? What are you paying out of pocket?

They make it really simple - all online. I had bloodwork from my annual physical so I just uploaded it to the Sequence site and didn't need to do any additional bloodwork. All very easy on my end - they asked me some questions online and then handled all the preapproval with my insurance company (federal Blue Cross). I think that preapproval only took a few days, and then they immediately called in the prescription to my pharmacy. A week before I need a refill, I request one on the app and answer a few questions about side effects, weight, etc. They charge $99/month. That doesn't include the cost of the medication, but for me it's just a $25/month copay.

Adding that their $99 membership does also included labs that you get done at your nearest lab. It's pretty easy and they're responsive and open to changing meds quickly.
