Auburn vs Clemson for business

DD has now been accepted to both. Schools seem so similar. She’s having a hard time deciding between them. Anyone have personal experience or insights on the difference between the two schools, particularly for a business major? We will go visit each in February, but trying to gather as much information as we can in the meantime.

If degree is just in general business, or administrative management as I think it’s called at Clemson, I would ask a lot of well thought out questions about serious internship opportunities and connections.

Clemson just built a new business school. I think both schools are good though. I would think it may just be what school feels better. One has more of a town. I would also ask about housing situation since both schools are so popular.

The town of Auburn is hands down better.

Hugh Freeze will have Auburn in the playoffs by 2025 at the latest, especially with it going to 12 teams. Dabo's program at Clemson, meanwhile, is fading due to his stubborn unwillingness to get on board with NIL.

South Carolina is the SEC school most known for business.

undergrad business school is kinda a waste, so much AI is going to take over these soft skill jobs. My company is about to eliminate an entire department that mainly hires business school grads as we are able to basically automate their tasks. i’d pick whichever school is a better fit. Focus on good grades to get into good MBA program.

Accounting, finance, econ are not "soft skills"

Alabama lost to Louisiana-Monroe during Saban's first season.

Neither

Where will your kid get a job out of either of those places?

Sure make it hard before they begin

Ok Ms. sarcasm. Where should a child go who has the stats for these schools? My DC is one of them. They are not getting into UVA/W&M/UMD. These are still well-known schools and not everyone is getting into the top tier schools. FFS.

My son is in first year of college, business major. He’s thinking accounting or supply chain. I’m a bit concerned about AI and job security for him done the road. Agree the above are not soft skills.
