| What is the point when there are only 20 all task points entered into grading? |
Reach out to the resource teacher for the teacher from that department. That is a problem and needs to be addressed. If grades are kept up to date, there is no point of interims but if there's no assignments in the system, that's unacceptable by the teacher. |
| It’s not just about grades being entered within a certain time frame. Teachers also need enough planning time to create instructional materials and grade the assignments you want to see entered into the gradebook. Hard to do that when teachers lose planning for covering other classes, team meetings, IEP/504 meetings, etc. do you know if this teacher is full or part time? How many students do they have |
| Sorry no, MCPS is clear, there should be one all task and one practice grade MINIMUM every week. Reach out to the resource teacher or content specialist. |

Don't worry about them. I've had one kid spend K-12 in MCPS and another finishing middle school, and interims are not a thing. Ignore. |
No - that’s not true. It’s school by school. You don’t even have to give practice assignments per the policy if you read it. |
What is the point at all? With Synergy, you get updated grades. Interims are printed so far after the day they're entered that they"re never up to date. It's an outdated system. |
In our school, interims give us a clear cut date on wgen we can stop accepting that work and lock thise assignments. |
Nice to have clear guidelines! |
