I see recs for a tattoo parlor and Brilliance for kids ear piercing. Does anyone have experience with STUDS in Georgetown? They use needles which I prefer after my own horrific experience at Claire’s in the 80’s which had to be fixed in my late 20s.
N/A but we took our 5yo to a tattoo parlor earlier this year and had a really really great experience. The piercer was fantastic with her, moved quickly, explained the whole process as she was doing it, and we had maybe 30 seconds of tears. They're very even and healed beautifully.
I (an adult) actually had my ears pierced at STUDS in NYC last year, and it was a lovely experience. I would trust them for a child too. I'm not against a tattoo place for a kid, but this is might even feel like a "cool" experience for a kid.
I have been pierced as an adult at one of their NYC locations. It was a good experience and very quick. Iirc, weekend appointments had to be booked decently in advance but not so much weekdays. I would return. Rowan, Mejuri, and Maria Tash offer similar services.
I would double check, I don’t think they pierce kids.
You are correct, STUDS only does 18+. |
Craig Pokes U is a good one for kids, but it's in Arlington. I was super impressed at professionalism and cleanliness.
