How quickly do times from meets get entered into USA Swimming’s database? Kids swam this past weekend at Jeff Rouse and times haven’t been updated yet. |
I think it’s dependent on the club running the meet. My kid swam this weekend and the times are in the database. |
I believe that the USA Swimming website says to allow up to 10 days for LSCs to process times. I would not expect times from this past weekend to necessarily be updated yet. |
I find at the earliest three to four days to get into the official USA Swimming database. It has taken as long as 10 days for meets as well.
Swimcloud is whenever someone uploads the meet results and around here it seems within a day or so. Swimmetry gets them in pretty quick as well. |
My son has done 4 meets this fall and swim cloud only has the first one in there .... |
It takes the meet director to email them in or a participant. You can send the results file (located on PVS results) to results@swimcloud.com Since it is a tool for colleges - you will see the more competitive meet results in there, but I have found that most PVS meets get in there. |
Unofficial results are typically sent to Meet Mobile within an hour or two of each event.
Most meets in PVS are uploaded to USA Swim by the day after the meet. There can be delays when equipment problems require significant amounts of manual intervention/calculations. I would imagine there could also be delays if notifications are required before public release of all results. |
