Looking for a place to do a b-day dinner party of 12-18 people...

For DH's 40th b-day, I want to do a surprise dinner party somewhere with 12 - 18 of our friends. It's in the fall, and ideal locations would be Georgetown, Arlington, or Falls Church. I'd love a suggestion for somewhere that's not TOO pricey and fun.

DH is not a fancy food person at all -- favorite food is Thai, and likes hole-in-the-wall places so I'd be open to something like that as well as more traditional type restaurants! Thanks!

I love love Bangkok Bistro on Prospect St in Georgetown. Definitely reasonably priced Thai and delicious. And he gets a free entree on his birthday! (DH and I used to take each other there on our birthdays when we were poor)

How about Four Sisters in Merrifield?

Hard Times Cafe in Clarendon has an upstairs that fits the bill. Their food is just so-so, but it's a great location and it's fun.
