Chances of Blair SMACS Acceptance

Anonymous
My daughter has a 300+ MAP M score, she’s very involved in her sport but also does debate and math team. She’s very stressed about the application process as she’s hoped to attend Blair for a long time and is nervous that she won’t be accepted. What are her chances / Has anyone heard of 300+ MAP students being rejected?

Can't tell without knowing what this year's applicant pool is.

Think of it as early practice for stressing over college admissions.

You would think your daughter has an excellent shot. I want to believe my 300+ TPMS mathlete also does, but you never know. There are typically 800 applicants for the 100 spots. FWIW, I'd heard the median map-m for students admitted last year was mid-270s.

Did you get in, OP and PP?

I don’t think she will be rejected given she’s a girl with 300+ MAP M. There aren’t many girls with that MAP M scores.

300 is a great score. My daughter had a Map-M of 280 and was invited to all three Poolesville programs and RMIB.
