Flame away, but I really enjoy the convince of getting a Whole Foods order delivered through Amazon.
Springfield is my designated store and they have been out of stock of the majority of the items I typically purchase for well over a week. No freshly prepared or deli items, lack of produce and missing many of the 365 brand staples that I rely on. Was there some kind of damage to the store? Fire? Construction? It's just bizarre that so many items are missing and don't seem to be getting replenished. Anyone know what the deal is? |
Aren’t they in the process of opening a new one? Are they closing the old?
They relocated to Springfield Plaza earlier this month. Would that have anything to do with the missing items?
They’re in the process of moving locations. From a pretty small location to a considerably larger one. I’m surprised you didn’t know this, as it’s been known for a pretty long time.
The new location has been open for a few weeks and is always well stocked. Not sure why it won’t let you order certain items.
That’s strange, I was there today and everything was well stocked.
My guess would be that the shoppers can’t find things in the new location and are just marking things as out of stock instead of looking more. Then they end up marked as out of stock for other orders.
Fwiw, it doesn't have all the same things as the old store. There are a couple items that they just don't seem to have. I'm hoping that changes in the coming months but it might not.
10 out the 15 items sitting in my cart are showing as out of stock. Things like spinach, strawberries and eggs.
