I think the format may have changed this year with prelims on Fri night and finals on Sat night (used to be all on Sat with prelims in morning and finals at night). Ask your high school coach

Certainly in the boys. The all-boys schools tend to have bigger, stronger teams because the population is bigger.

This meet is also interesting because not all schools treat it as a varsity/“send the strongest team” meet because there are so many championship meets in a row. For example, Stone Ridge won the ISL meet, but finished 12th at WMPSSDL. It’s not because there were more teams (SR also won metros, ahead of 32 teams), it’s because of the strength of team they sent.

The all-girls schools dominated the ISL meet for the same reason- more girls to field a team compared to the coed schools. Also, schools like SR and Holton have been know as strong swim schools (who support club swimmers) for quite awhile and that reputation continues to attract high level swimmers.
