| I think Bowser could easily be re-elected but if she does not run again for re-election and I hope she does…who could be the next mayor? |
| No one, Feds take it over. |
| Let's bring back Fenty. He was good, but his downfall was that his head got too big. Or let's bring back Tony Williams. |
You could be onto something |
| She doesn’t want to be doing it now, I sincerely hope she doesn’t run again. |
write in campaign to bring back Anthony Williams |
| Robert White, At-Large, will likely run for mayor again. Would love to see Christina Henderson, At-Large, Independent, run. She's smart, experienced (previously worked for Chuck Schumer as well as the Council as a staffer) and is level-headed, methodical, and understands how governance and budgets work. |
His downfall was Mayor Grey ran a shadow campaign. |
She's more likely to be indicted (as part of the broadening Federal investigation into DC's transactions with developers) than to be re-elected. |
Yes! |
Someone on this board likes to bring this up. Is there any juice? Because they have never presented anything other than innuendo. |
+1 on Henderson, I don't know if she'll run in 2026 but it does feel like that's where she's ultimately headed. She does a really good job of balancing the Bowser/Green Team and their economic focus and the more progressive wing of the council (which tends to not be very pragmatic). |

| I am not sure how anyone would thin Bowser would be a shoe-in for mayor next time. Her current administration is a shambles, crime is rampant, downtown needs to be re-tooled and she has zero vision to see either issue through. |
Yes, pleeeeease!! |
