Herbal tea recs?

Anonymous
I love drinking black tea with milk before bed, but I think I’m overdoing it on caffeine. (I know there’s decaf tea, but even that has some caffeine, right?) Anyone have an herbal tea alternative bedtime beverage they love? Bonus if it’s healthy!

Are you a hibiscus lover or a hibiscus hater?

I love the herbal teas from capital teas (used to have DMV stores but now it’s an online presence). But I also like traditional medicinals (chamomile & lavender or cup of calm).

I was going to say turmeric ginger.

Republic of Tea has some nice ones too. Family faves are the orange ginger mint and the cardamom cinnamon.

I became obsessed with ginger tea and mint tea and ginger mint tea made with actual ginger and/or actual mint leaves after having it in Prague. I was so charmed when I ordered a ginger mint tea and there was ginger and green leaves steeping in the pot instead of tea bags. So that's what I do for herbal tea now.

I was in SF staying at Chateaux Tivoli and had the best herbal tea. I saved the tea bags Novell's blackberry citrus. I ordered boxes of it on Amazon as soon as I got home. Delicious both iced and hot.

This answer wins the day, but… if you can’t do this, do TeaPigs spiced winter red.

Just tried celestial seasonings Bengal Spice and am loving it. Does not have black tea leaves, so no caffeine.

My favorite is La Tisaniére Nuit Calme. It’s chamomile, but also has orange blossoms and linden (which has a lovely fragrance and is hard to find in tea). I find chamomile alone to be sort of bland.
