Trump just announced on Truth Social that he has received a target letter from Jack Smith, saying is a TARGET of the Grand Jury and that he has 4 days to testify before the January 6th Grand Jury.

He should start planning to get rid of Communists and Fascists and the deep state within the federal prison population. He will have the opportunity soon, if he is capable of it! |
"Show me the man, and I’ll show you the crime."

Putin’s army needs a few good men like you. I suggest you post haste depart for Russia and sign up. |
Yet, idiots still will vote for him. They are sick in the head |
LOL. Your guy openly committed crimes and admitted to crimes. There has never been any doubt that he is a criminal. The only question was whether he is above the law because he is a rich old white conservative. |
I love the irony of posting this on #TruthSocial.
"Truth" juxtaposed to an indictment related to election lies. LOL |

How exactly does he receive a letter on a Sunday night? It wouldn't have showed up on a Sunday via USPS. It could have been emailed or faxed I suppose, but Trump isn't checking those personally. In any case, one of Trump's minions had the letter and they decided that Trump should "receive" it on Sunday night for maximum effect. I wouldn't ordinarily make a big deal of the timing of the letter given everything else that is happening here, but Trump seems to be making a big deal of it ("again, it was Sunday night!") |
He was probably huddling with his enablers and toadies trying to figure out how to spin yet another indictment for his crimes and wanted to get ahead of the Monday morning news cycle. |
oh this is a "grand" jury. the best there is!
it's about d@mn time trump is finally held accountable for all his misdeeds. |
Right because he would never lie. |
It's not like he honors the Sabath on Sunday or something. What is he prattling on about as far as it being on a Sunday? |
his attorney could easily have told the special counsel that he would accept service on a Sunday. This point isn't a big deal. |
