How many coaches does your summer swim team have, and how many swimmers are on the team?
(Not counting the younger junior coaches who are in the water with little kids during practices.) |
We’re about 200 swimmers and have one head coach and two assistant coaches. |
About 100, I think. 4 main coaches. |
160, not counting preteam
One head coach, three assistant coaches |
About 120 not counting preteam. 1 head coach and usually about 3 senior assistants and 2-3 junior assistants. Plus the preteam coaches (and the head and assistant coaches help with preteam too).
It's a very caring and supportive atmosphere, actually. |
We have about 200 kids, give or take. There’s one head coach and one assistant coach, plus the junior coaches (there’s about 12-13 of them). |
What are you trying to figure out OP? If your team has too few coaches? |
We have 160 kids. One head coach and 4 assistant coaches (adults) and than a lot of junior coaches. |
I have no idea how many kids we have but I know we are a smaller team. We have one head coach and then 3 coaches who are also lifeguards.
If I had to guess how many kids I’d say 50-60. |
250 1 salaried coach and a dozen teen coaches |
About 90 kids including the minis/preteam. One head coach (adult) and then like six teenage coaches. |
Our team is about 130 kids and we have one head coach and 2 assistants (both college students), and then 10-12 junior coaches who are the ones that actually get in the water with our youngest swimmers. |
Trying to figure out what’s typical. We are a small team, less than 100 swimmers, with 4 coaches and 12-15 in water coaches. No financials are being shared, but many decisions made infer we are having financial struggles. |
Hello Stonebridge |
12–15 in-water? Is 50% of the team doing minis or something? This does not make sense. We have ~75 swimmers, 1 head coach and 2 assistants. The assistants do a lot with minis and lessons and guarding, too, so it’s unclear where their responsibilities begin and end. |
