How do I find Amazon wish lists from teachers?

Anonymous
Not a specific teacher, but in general, those wish lists they do for their classroom supplies. I have tried poking around Amazon and couldn't find it, and tried Googling but that didn't work either.

I don’t know if any teachers that create these. That’s why you are having a hard time. - teacher

Maybe you work in a rich area. THere are hundreds, if not thousands of these.

Go to Donors Choose. Lots of classrooms that need support.

I work in a high poverty school and I'd never hit up friends/family for donations. Wait for Back to School Night and ask the teacher then.

Then post links for OP. I’ve worked in a high SES school and title 1 schools. None of us were making Amazon wish lists. We bought with our own money when there wasn’t school or PTA funds.

21:08 again and I just typed “Amazon wish list teachers” into google and several popped up. Try that.

Teachers can set it up so that the only way to access it is by getting a direct link. You can just ask the teacher if they have one, and if not it might spur them to create one.

Search Twitter for #clearthelist and thousands will pop up. I'm in a Title I school and doing so never helped me get supplies, so I stopped.

Another option--if you're just looking to help teachers out--is Donors Choose. I have had good success getting projects funded and I love showing donors what my students do with the project funds!

I don’t know your county, but if it’s Loudoun, there’s a Facebook group called Loudoun County, VA: Adopt a Teacher.

Warning that there’s a lot of “I want my room to be bright and shiny and comfortable for all” so get ready for lists full of bouncy ball seats, fancy lighting, Play-Do, Jenga, and rainbow carts.

There is an FCPS group on Facebook called “support Fairfax county teachers”

Amazon wish lists are no longer “discoverable” for privacy reasons. Someone has to give you the link or add you to their Amazon contacts or friend list or whatever it’s called.
