Good restaurant in Vienna?

Any recommendations for a place near wolf trap?

Nothing is really near Wolftrap but Bazins in vienna is very good.

Just park in Tysons I or II and eat at either Jiwa Singpura, Eddie V, Earl's, or Fogo and then uber to and from Wolftrap. Then you don't have to deal with the parking out there. And like someone else said, there are no good restaurants nearby. Downtown Vienna parking is also a mess (I have had to turn around from Bazin's multiple times because no parking was available within five blocks). Bazin's is good but not great.

FYI Wolftrap also sells food at events and it's not terrible

The best part of Wolf Trap is going early and taking in a picnic. No problems parking if you go early.

Clarity

Ovations is the only nearby restaurant as far as I know, and the food is 'Meh'. You definitely pay for the location more than the food.

In Vienna, Clarity is very good, but pricey. I like Sweet Ginger. Parking is not a problem, unlike at Bazin's, which also serves good, but not great food.

Clarity has fallen off a cliff since Jon Krinn left. The food is still overpriced, but now terrible. I'd recommend any of the restaurants at the Boro -- you'll have an easier time getting to Wolf Trap from there than from downtown Vienna.

The food is almost exactly the same...Clarity usually works for us because it is easy to get over to Beulah and Wolf Trap from there.

Agreed on Clarity quality. We ate there last month and enjoyed our meal very much — though it is indeed a little pricey.

NP - I would say Clarity kept its quality for a bit after Krinn left but when his team started leaving, it really did fall off a cliff. Not even close to the old days.

I also will say I find Bazin’s to be mediocre at best. I keep trying because people rave but I just can’t get there.

Roberto’s and Blend 111 are probably the best actual food in Vienna right now. If you are thinking Tysons - I’d go to Nostos.

Super Chicken in Tysons FTW!
Forget all those fancy-schmancy places.

Agree with pp who said half the fun is a picnic before the show. Get sandwiches or salads from sweet leaf and a bottle of wine from vienna vintner. Add a picnic blanket and you're set!
