How far in advance can I make salad dressing?

DH usually makes the dressing, but we are entertaining at our new beach house and I want to make a special dressing. Alas, we are short on appliances and the dressing needs to be puréed, so thinking of making in advance. Can I make it on Thursday and serve it on Sunday?

Without knowing the ingredients, it's hard to say for sure, but likely yes (assuming that all the ingredients you use would be good until Sunday on their own and it's refrigerated the whole time.

Depends on what’s in it. Something like avocado would obviously be a no.

No avo, no dairy. Can keep it refrigerated for the duration.
