Oh and if you raise a stink you might be able to get your daughter on a better team. Happened last year in a few instances. |
That should never happen. Ridiculous! Politics is alive and strong in D.C. |
Or accept the fact your daughter might not be as amazing as you think they are |
There are some odd results for sure, but complaining about it? Go with the team you were put on and play hard. |
Every evaluator was a high school coach - except for Bucky. No parent evaluators. |
High school coaches should not evaluate unless they are from outside the area! Results clearly show they must’ve had 1st round selection rights…then the rest appears to be drawn from a hat as someone said earlier. I also heard a Potomac parent evaluated. Maybe he coaches as well, but he was definitely still part of the process. And Bucky has ties to many of the girlls and families. |
There’s a thread for this. Back to games.
BI at home, with huge chip after GC fiasco, wins by 3 |
That is the dumbest of all the dumb statements I have ever read on DCUM. Should they fly in coaches from New England or Long Island? Maybe the Czar of lacrosse can make Baltimore coaches drive down to Alexandria on their day off from work. D1 college coaches don’t work on Sunday, come on Cathy Reese - get your butt down to Episcopal! I’m sure you have it all worked out! |
Every year the school girls teams are nothing but political. Girls should stop trying out until
It’s fixed. |
Politicians must have done a pretty good job last year since DC won the top two brackets. |
Exactly!! |
Yes, but lets not stop there!! Girls should stop trying out for other similar tournament teams, all club teams and all high school teams as well, since politics play a part as well in how those rosters are determined!! |
Everyone always says “politics” at play. What politics do you think are occurring? Do tell |
We should ask Dan Hurley what he thinks.
