What happened at FHS Yesterday?

Saw something on Next door

The news I heard was there was a 911 call with a hang up. So the school was locked down and searched. Nothing was found that I have heard.

No idea if they figured out if the call was a mistake or a really misguided prank.

That’s all it was? My elementary schoolers were on lockdown because of this. Not that they seemed fazed by it, but I’m guessing some of the kids were.

They were on lockdown, and then there was a staged orderly release, for about 2.5 hours. My child was texting me about it, terrified, for 30 min. before we got word from the school. THey were evac'd into safe spaces ("safe") and rumors of someone with a gun were running around. They locked down FHS and St. Leo's ES, at least. Huge police presence.

I'm not sure what actually happened has been determined, or if it was I don't know what it is. But, last I heard was someone called the school saying they were there or nearby and being threatened by someone with a hung, but got disconnected. It's being circulated that was a prank of some sort by a teenager. Again - rumor. But, all ended up being well after the police swept the school room to room.
