Favorite book on raising kids (elementary school).

I want to give my kid more independence and responsibility, but could use some advice on the “how” in raising self-sufficient kids. My kid has ADHD, and I think I’ve let myself do too much for her because it takes her a frustratingly long time to get anything done. I don’t want to be putting her laundry away for her when she’s 15, so I need to start building some scaffolding now. Any suggestions for great parenting books about building independence and confidence in kids?

My two favorite parenting books are

Kids, Parents, and Power Struggles

and

How to Talk to Kids Will Listen (And Listen So Kids Will Talk)

They don't specifically address the ADHD issue but I think they'd be helpful anyway.
