How can they invest in infrastructure when Israel is gate-keeping the use of building materials? There is so much dishonesty in your Zionist statements that at this point it is best to just disengage conversing with the likes of you. |
Somehow they were able to build pretty elaborate tunnels. They built nothing for the citizens. |
Wait, doesn't this contradict your earlier post that if Hamas hadn't attached on 10/7, the Gazans would still be happily living in their homes, tending to their gardens, going to work and to school, etc., etc.? So which one is it? |

Before October 7, Gaza was a thriving place. It had its poor neighborhoods, and Hamas closed many places that allowed "too much" mixing by the sexes (i.e. a nice swimming complex), but it was developing. Here's a little tourist blurb-obviously, before October 7: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBo7i-TXy6s&t=8s
Here's a drone view of Gaza from 2021. What some in the media called "refugee camps" were mostly high-rise buildings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZB8cHXx7_S4 |

Anyone in administrative detention is kidnapped. |
lol ok another hasbara troll. If they “stole all the money”, tell me: how does Gaza have (well had) a sophisticated healthcare system and hospital network? Multiple universities? Courthouses and police force? A near total literacy and vaccination rate? Did they appear by magic or did someone invest in them? |
Well explain it to me then. I believe that there the Israeli behavior to Gazans is unsupportable. You cannot starve a people and expect to be on the right side of history. The PP spoke of Gazan behavior like supporting Hamas as a potential reason why the Israeli response was justified. That sounds like victim blaming. Like saying that “they asked for it”. When in reality, whether Gazans are peaceful Buddhists spending their days in meditation, folks who are spreading the Israeli message far and wide, or people who say in a poll that they support Hamas, has exactly zero to do with how horrific the Israeli behavior has been. |

Gee so now you're saying life in Gaza was wonderful... Make up your damn mind. |
Sure and nobody in any prison anywhere ever committed a crime
|
It's a damn shame that Hamas decided to knowingly take all of that away from the Gazan people and throw it all away. Because that's what they did. Maybe after every last Hamas terrorist is killed or locked up the Gazans can get someone who actually cares a bit more about the future and well-being of Gaza. |
2400 Palestinians weee detained in Israeli jails without charge in 2022. This appears to be a lawfully lot like kidnapping. 34 Palestinians kids were killed in that year as well. I denounce the Hamas attacks on 10/7. But these vents did not happen in a vacume. |
I guess it's only fair if pro-Palestinians want to continually deny the Jewish genocide in WWII and centuries of other atrocities committed against Jews... I guess it's only fair if pro-Palestinians want to continually deny and ignore all of the things that precipitated Arab-Israeli wars and the repeated instances of genocidal attacks going back to the very day that Israel was partitioned. |
I previously posted a link to a Stanford University study that polled Gazans prior just prior to 10/7. 2/3 reported food insecurity. A majority reported feelings of high stress. Only 1 in 4 reported support for Hamas. Gaza was not the shiny happy place pre 10/7 that you seem to think it was. However much you want to believe that 10/7 was unprovoked that is simply not the case. |
