I have aphids all over my native honeysuckle. I saw one ladybug having a feast, but would like to buy more. Any recs? |
It’s not a good idea to buy them. https://www.gardenmyths.com/buy-ladybugs-garden/
The article also talks about how to encourage more of your own ladybugs. |
you cann knock aphids off with a strong hose. |
I find the best thing to do for aphids is just wait a couple weeks. The hose will also knock off the ladybug larvae. If you just wait a bit, they will catch up. It’s very unlikely that the aphids will do serious damage even though they look alarming. It’s the natural pattern for the aphids to look like a horror movie for a bit before the predators catch up with the population curve. |
