Do you wear underwear with workout pants

Anonymous
Help me out. I never wore underwear with workout shorts and pants. But now I'm 40. 3 kids. And I find now when I woke out I pee a little or maybe my, er, crotch smells more and then I get so embarrassed.

So as a 40 year old should I be wearing underwear when I workout? This is like yoga pants, not gym shorts. Anyone wear period underwear for workouts even if you don't have period?

Yes with a liner

I always wear underwear.

I do most of the time, unless it’s a pair where I know the lines look really terrible and I’m planning to wear them all day to run errands. I only wear period underwear during my period, it’s kind of hot and uncomfortable when working out.

Wearing underwear would not stop your crotch from sweating. You would still be sweating and smelling down there… sweat stinks, who cares.

Why on earth wouldn't you have been wearing underwear all along? That's gross and weird.

Not yoga pants, but I don't wear undies when I golf under my skort

underwear with a pantyliner. Easy. And perhaps time for new workout bottoms if you’ve been wearing them a long time w/o underwear for sweaty workouts; they may just be too far gone now.

I wear period underwear when I run and it’s close to my cycle (which is when I’m more prone to leaking). It works well for me. I don’t wear them when I’m cycling or doing lower-impact workouts.

If your yoga pants smell, try washing them in Hex Detergent. That’s probably a better strategy than wearing underwear. But obviously also wear underwear if you want, you’re allowed to have panty lines. Anyone who cares is way off base and can go twirl on it.

Period panties (washable) plus pessary with impact activities

yes, always.

I do not, but I have not had three kids and never pee myself when working out. It sounds like maybe in your situation, you should.
