| My, my..if it isn’t the consequences of Texas’ bad decisions coming to roost. |
They’re not, yet. |

Some good precedent for the gun laws to be coming from California. Now there’s a law that might actually save some lives of actual living sentient people, not potential lives. |
I think I’m warming to this idea too. Instead of the United States of America, let’s just be the States of America. What works for Rhode Island doesn’t work for Mississippi and that’s ok. If you want easier access to guns and less restrictive gun laws, move to Montana. If you want all your neighbors to be pro-life, move to Alabama. If you’re gay, move to Vermont. Maybe that would create less strife/animosity. Opposite sides of these arguments will never convince the other side of anything, so let birds of a feather flock together. So how will the President be elected? Which party? |
That’s all we’ll and good, but states will quickly figure out they can apply this to other amendments too. Just wait until anyone in AL can sue you for the tweet insulting Christians, and anyone in NY can sue you for questioning climate change. |
| What is the best, most unbiased source providing information about who and under what circumstances can get an abortion in TX now? Planned parenthood site is very vague on the topic, and not really independent |
Planned Parenthood is the best source on current abortion availability, period. They’re the ones who have to turn people away when they don’t qualify. If the website is vague and you really need to know, call them. Or maybe try a crisis pregnancy center if you want “not really independent” information. But if you ask them I’m pretty sure they will tell you that you can get an abortion in Texas if your pregnancy is less than six weeks along, and you cannot if you’re further along. |

So sad for these women. They try to get an appointment by 6 weeks, but the clinics are jam packed and can't get them in, so they end up going at 8 weeks, which means, no option.
