What don't you get?

They thought we’d fall in line.

We saw what he was like. We saw what the GOP finds acceptable. And we see that regressive women are perfectly okay with sexual violence.

For the millionth time: what sexual violence are you referring to?

$92,000 in country club fees: PAID.

$200,000 in credit card debt: PAID.

$1,200,000 mortgage: PAID.

Who paid and who purchased that SCOTUS seat?

We are neither regressive nor okay with sexual violence.

In fact, we abhor sexual violence so much that we don't want the fight against it to be set back by women like Ford and Swetnick who make vague and flimsy accusations, thereby throwing into question the veracity of women reporting real sexual violence.

You mean the alleged incident of groping that allegedly happened about 30-35 years ago, somewhere in MD, supposedly at a party that not one other person has any recollection of? Oh. Ok.

He belonged to two expensive clubs, Bethesda Country and Congressional. I guess the Congressional Club membership ultimately paid off.

He comes from an affluent background but not rich. His mother went to law school when he was a teen and has been a judge. His father was a lobbyist and has a second wife. They may have given him money but so far it has not been proven. He was making about $180k per year when he entered into the $1.2 million mortgage. It really looks like he's a man in the habit of living above his means which in normal times would be a security risk. I really think this should have been investigated.

Undoubtedly some people know. Unfortunately, as we’ve seen the GOP isn’t interested in upholding the law. Security risk, schmecurity risk.

If you’re a GOP voter and a Brett supporter, you are regressive.

Blasey Ford’s accusation wasn’t vague or flimsy at all, it’s absolutely in line with what experts in the field say people recall. I think there are about three of you boosters still posting in here and statistically, at least one of you has been sexually assaulted. I’m sure you remember with perfect clarity certain parts - what happened, for example - even as other parts your brain didn’t find it necessary to save. It doesn’t make your assault any less real because your brain didn't produce a journalistic account.

Just stop.
There were so many damned holes in her story. Not going to relitigate it now.... that has been done ad nauseam on this thread.
What I have seen repeatedly done here is women projecting their sexual assault experiences onto Ford's account. Much like women did with the UVA "rapist."
I feel badly for any woman who has suffered sexual assault. Blasey-Ford just wasn't one of them. At least, not at the hands of Kavanaugh. Quit projecting.

DP. You have no way of knowing that for sure, but if it helps you sleep better at night, that’s your prerogative. The rest us don’t have to be complicit, though.

This, exactly. There are some women who are bound and determined to project their own sexual trauma onto every other woman, regardless of individual circumstances. It’s beyond tiresome.

I think it’s funny that you can’t wrap your head around just how many people found the Democratic circus at the Kavanaugh hearings disgraceful and disgusting. You’re the same one who keeps popping up to declare there couldn’t possibly be more than three of us. Your willful stupidity is kind of amusing.
