Thank you for the explanation. I had wondered about people leaving their party or switching. |
Because a subset of “downtrodden” Americans (largely MC, LMC white men with persecution complexes who think they deserve the world for simply getting out of bed in the morning) want to blame all the minorities, educated Americans, women, etc for taking their birthright to being given the best of everything. And really wish they could just could tell these folks exactly how much they hate them. Trump does this on their behalf, and is wish fulfillment via proxy. Giving the cold shoulder to Walz? They’d love to be able to do that to some liberal in a position of power. Trump isn’t the only American who is all grievance all the time. |
But enough to vote for him? It confuses me that it’s considered unacceptable to be a karen or to name call for normal people but trump is allowed to just be like that |
If this were true (and it’s a theory that makes sense, but we have no actual evidence it is) then Trumps numbers would be artificially more favorable. |
https://www.gelliottmorris.com/p/trump-approval-at-42-democrats-up
- Trump at 42%-56% (-14) approval - Democrats up in generic ballot, 45%-37% (+8) - Trump underwater on the big issues |
This is just completely shocking. An elderly POTUS losing popularity as his term evolves. Imagine that! |
I love these pollsters that no one has ever heard of before. One hit wonder push-polling to try to convince people their position is still relevant.
You know whose polling is in the dumpster? Democrats. Deport! Deport! Deport! |

Yes, please deport the business owners who hire illegals first. Deport them to Salvador. |
MAGA ladies and gentleman ![]() |
Which pollster have you never heard of before, dear? |
If you haven’t heard of AP and Quinnipiac, that’s a you problem. |
This boggles my mind every day. They say they like his ideas on deportation, economy, abortion. Ok, whatever. But any republican would bring similar ideas and plans while acting like an actual human being and maintaining a semblance of decorum. If the democratic party elevated someone like him, I would be so embarrassed of my party. |
