I went to Flavio recently on a double date, thinking Italian in Georgetown would be nice. I picked it for the group because the online reviews looked solid and there were hundreds of reviews between Yelp, Google, etc. The food was mediocre, the prices were high, the service was nowhere to be seen, and the ambience was maybe one rung above Olive Garden. What's up with this place? Why does it get such good reviews and seem to do an OK business? I suppose it's possible we just went on an off night, but pretty much everything was unimpressive. We left thinking we had to have missed something important about the mismatch between reviews and reality.
