Graduation party

Considering participants' schedules and space availability, we are unable to have our kid's party until the weekend AFTER graduation. Is that timing unusual? I seem to remember families primarily hosting in the weekends preceding. Thanks.

You might end up with more people being able to attend because it is not being held in the immediate time frame of the graduation. You might also find that some families are leaving for vacation as soon as school is done, there are pros and cons. Schedule based on what works for the people who are most important to your family to attend.

Why wouldn't that be normal? People hold graduation parties all through may and June.
