We are going through the process of starting meds, but the TAG assessments were completed before our child was
On any medication. Would you appeal and explain the situation?

Wow, autocorrect failure. Subject should be “unmedicated“

Are you in the DC area? What county? Different counties have different policies regarding admission timelines.

Have the meds been a real game changer? If not, there’s not much to be gained.

We haven’t started yet, but I’m hoping they will be. He’s bright, but I believe school hasn’t seen his full potential because he can’t sit still.

In the DC area, but prefer not to say where, exactly. We are in a period where we could appeal.

Kindergarten age? Our close-in school doesn't even have TAG at that age. I wouldn't bother appealing, especially since you don't know how the medication will affect him. Can he test in or apply in future years? He's not going to fall behind in kindergarten. I'd wait.

Is this a troll post? Who is doing TAG in kindergarten? Developmentally, it's inappropriate and unsound.

I think you are confused about testing done op. Tag usually isn’t until second grade.

PP. That's why I asked what area. Hard to give any advice when OP is being very vague. But, good luck on the meds, I hope they bring relief to the DC.
