Drag Brunch — anyone been?

We are trying to plan a fundraiser and considering a drag brunch. It sounds very different and interesting. Has anyone ever been? What happens? What types of prizes are given out? Thanks.

If this is a school fundraiser, I would say no because too many people will be offended.

We’ve been to a few, lots of bad language from the drag Queens so be prepared for that. They’re a lot of fun and entertaining. I would take my 10yo but a lot of people wouldn’t.

I don't really get how it would work as a fundraiser. Would you sell tickets and split it with the venue, or something?

Drag brunch can be very fun but part of it is that the performers interact with the crowd and get cash tips. That might not be everyone's cup of tea, so make sure your group is on board for that.

Such a sad state the US is in.

A brunch spot in my town has had a drag brunch for 10+ years that I've lived here. No one cared...until last year.

Now, each week there are some pathetic losers out there protesting and harassing anyone going inside. I doubt they even live in the community. I know one group is from WV because I recognized one of them standing at their truck smoking a cig and it had WV plates.

Go back to your dumpster fire of a state and cause chaos there. Maybe focus on some of the many, many problems plaguing WV.

I am not PP however I’d take a five year old. I’d take whoever wants to go

What I would not do is send my kids to church? Just last week alone every day in the us a preacher or a pastor raped or groomed children that is a fact. Not like the news is not showing this .

Drag weens are happy and fun.

I took my 7 and 4 year old to drag bingo and it was great. And no cursi bc of lewd comments at all. It depends on where you go. I highly suggest crazy aunt Helen’s for family friendly drag shows
