Favorite yoga studios in DC? Experience with Well & Wonder, Circle...

Anonymous
So Washington Yoga Center is closing this month. Trying to find other yoga studios to practice at regularly. I used to go to Flow but it's somewhat far now and most of the classes are not my style these days (very fast paced, "power" yoga, etc).

Do you have a favorite studio? Any experiences with Well & Wonder, Circle, or another spot (preferably in NW)?

Oh they are closing?? That's too bad. So many have closed since 2020. Im mostly going to Dupont Yoga know and the schedule is pretty robust these days.

Not sure where you are, OP, but I like Mayu's classes at Toolbox. She also teaches the noon class on Fridays at Yoga Sangha; most of their other classes are too "power" focused for me these days and I feel OLD.

I am old enough to still miss the old Tranquil Space on P St ... it was my home away from home

Do t know exactly where you live. I had a monthly unlimited pass at a studio. When it closed I joined Lifetime for roughly the same price. Unlimited classes, better class times for my schedule.

And most of the instructors were from the studio that closed.

Bump. How about yoga where they play music? I've been doing yoga with the peloton app since the pandemic, and worked my way up to power flow, took a break and now back at it, but would like to interact with humans! Looking for upper NW DC. Was going to try Circle Yoga but would really like some music, rather than just focusing on breath.
