Birthday party idea for 4 year old

Anonymous
My son is turning 4 in March. We want to throw his first birthday party. What are good places in DC? He is not into painting and craft, but likes dinosaurs, trucks, jumping, running, and music.
Our preference would be to do it at a park at the end of March and hire some entertainment to do games, face paining, music, etc. but we don’t know anyone.

Thank you!

For entertaining, you can try:
The great zucchini
Superhero Stu
Mad science

Be aware, outside at the end of March can be tricky weather wise. Book a LARGE pavilion if you go that route.

I do not see what your child’s gender has to do with it. The child is not even 4.

OP here. You are right… maybe an indoor location would be better.

OP here. What? Should I have said “my child”? I thought it was helpful to explain what he is into because he would like a princess (like my DD used to like)

My son is turning 5 and we are having his party at a MyGym. We have also done little gym in the past. For winter birthdays these are so great and worth the $ although they are expensive. Kids love it and it’s very little work for you.

Agreed. He’s great for that age. We went to a few parties with him and the kids loved it.
