I recently bought ground cumin and coriander to use for a specific recipe. Now i'm wondering what else to do with them. I guess I just ignored them in recipes in the past. I know I've seen cumin mentioned in chili recipes, but what else do you use it for? How about coriander? What types of dishes?

I added cumin to chili, taco meat, sprinkle it on chicken thighs for roasting or grilling, and lots of Indian and Middle Eastern dishes. I don't use ground coriander as much, usually in Indian curries, chicken tikka masala, or things like this:

Coriander can be added at really tiny amounts to stews, chicken, beef, soups it adds very nice flavor. It’s a very versatile spice, add sparingly just for a hint of spice.
