I have a sneaking suspicion my kids will snoop. (I know I used to!) Looking for places that aren’t “the trunk of your car” (I drive an SUV and not only use the space daily, but I also wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving a ton of presents out in the open like that.)
Curious your tried and true hiding spots! Thanks! |
| How old are the kids and how big are the gifts? |
| inside luggage |

HAHAHA I tried my office, and just locking the door, until my 8 year old broke the lock - "just to see if Santa is real!!"
I got nothing. |
10/12. Small gifts but big ticket items they will be surprised to receive. |
Oh, this is good! Perfect, actually! |
inside tampon boxes |
| We store our Christmas decorations in tubs. When the decorations go up, the gifts go into the tubs. My kids are none the wiser. |
| Suitcases. Bottom of hamper if they don’t do laundry. Among other clutter in the garage. Deliver to and keep at neighbor’s house or work. |
|
Inside coolers - we use our coolers a ton during the summer. In the fall, DH cleans them really well and we put them in the basement “to avoid animal damage.”
Also, luggage. I hide DH’s small items in my work sock drawer and the big items in the kids’ rooms. |

Are you being sarcastic or did you really not read the OP at all? |
| Inside suitcases, inside storage tubs, or literally inside Amazon boxes in our unfinished room in our basement that just look like more of the clutter that's already there. |
| Yeh I just have a big box that is next to all of the other random boxes in the basement |
| I put them on my bedroom floor inside amazon boxes. To everybody else in my house, it looks like a mess that needs to get tidied up, so nobody every touches it. |
