Unless you're ready for a gamble, please don't touch Tesla, since Twitter is touch and go and things could domino. Apple and Google are the strongest long-term tech stocks of this era. You can't go wrong buying them. Amazon will hold long-term as well. Do not touch Meta/FB - like Twitter, their business model is suffering from ad losses (inflation, and because Apple configured its devices to allow users to select more privacy that affect targeted ads) and TikTok cannibalization of the entire media ecosystem.
Apple, contrary to what PP says, and as we've seen of the consequential decisions it has made that negatively impact end-use companies like FB, has *outsize* power in the tech world. Its Achilles heel right now is its Chinese production lines, and the fact that chips are Taiwanese but made in China. More tensions over there can severely impact its affairs. It's seen the light and is making a switch to India, but it's a transfer that will take years. But I can't think of any other tech company today that is so influential.
All this is for long-term holds, mind you.
