At our school, success in AP Chemistry really isn't dictated by how strong of an A the student has. Or even if they earned a B in Honors Chemistry. There are many reasons why kids might not have really high percentage grades that don't reflect their actual understanding of the content. The Honors Chemistry course is designed to prepare students for success in AP Chemistry. But the main factor for success is whether or not students are will to put in necessary study time and stay on top of their work in AP Chemistry.
Thanks! It’s intimidating thinking it’s all super smart, hard-working, and competitive pre-pre-med students.
