MCPS Tutors for High School Subjects

Wondering if there is a website available where we can locate MCPS teachers who also want to tutor?

DS, currently in high school, could use some help in Social Studies and Spanish. We were thinking about emailing the teacher to ask for resources of teachers that are not at our school, but I thought I had seen recently someone posting a website with a list of MCPS teachers who are interested in tutoring specific subjects.

I tried searching on dcurbanmom but the links that were provided were many many years ago and are dead links.

Not a website but an excel spreadsheet per subject - not publicly available. Just ask your kid's teacher in that subject and they should be able to send you the list.

I think kids can see descriptions of tutors through Tutor Me. That gets accessed through mymcps

Check with the guidance office. Ours used to keep a list of teachers outside the school who tutored. That's how we got the best math tutor ever!
