Best coffee if one has GERD/silent reflux?

I love love espresso but I need to tend to my throat. Which coffee is best if one must indulge. I get scratchy throat from wine, citrus, coffee, milk.

Have you tried cold brew? It’s supposed to be low acid.

First, my sympathies.

I get some horrible french roast low acid coffee from the grocery store - and mix a dash of it with chicory, which I now drink by the gallon. I brew them together - one filter, mixed - in my drip coffee maker.

I order french roasted chicory from Amazon.

Cutting way way way way back on real coffee has helped my gerd. Hasn't eliminated it but really helps.

NP.. IDK about the low acid, but cold coffee makes my tummy hurt, but I still love it.

I have the same issues, OP. I just cut my intake in half.

I also tagamet for two weeks (OTC), and that seemed to help, too.
