Wrinkles from Benzoyl Peroxide

I'm 31 with mild adult acne. I made the mistake of using a benzoyl peroxide face wash for a week. I swear it gave me wrinkles. I've discounted use, but I'm hoping it's just dehydration. I'm moisturinzg a lot, drinking water, staying out of the sun. Please tell me this is temporary.

My guess would be temporary dryness, dehydration. I once tried using retinol under my eyes; I aged about 20 years in days! I didn’t start slowly. Lesson learned.

It's just the dryness.

Tretinoin is what you need! It's the best. Differin as a 2nd choice if you need OTC.

How long did it take to go away?

Yup! As soon as my skin heals. These wrinkles look so deep and my face is uncomfortably tight.

Definitely dehydration only. Was it Panoxyl? That one actually includes moisturizer, they say. Nothing works for me like Benzoyl Peroxide, I won't give it up.

You should put moisturizer over it, similar to how you'd wear Tretinoin
