Rockville High School- AP or IB?

| I have a 7th grader, so next year will be her last year in middle school. Our local school- Rockville HS- has both AP and IB. Any experience with either? Insight as to why you chose what you did? Thanks! |

| I'd go for the IB if you can get the actual diploma. I think it's a better program in general, although I think colleges still feel more comfortable with AP classes. |

Depends on what your kids strengths are. Generally, the thinking is Writing/Humanities IB, Math and Science AP.
