Progesterone after positive test

Thoughts on this statement?

Progesterone supplementation is unlikely to help if started after a positive pregnancy test.

I have been on progesterone in all four of my pregnancies because my prog numbers after a positive test were not high enough for my OB. My first and third pregnancies miscarried in spite of the suppositories. My second pregnancy went to term. My fourth pregnancy is only 6 weeks along, and I am supplementing. I have a us next week with hopes of seeing a hb.

My OB once told me that the pro won't save a pregnancy that is destined to fail, but it might help hold onto one where your uterine lining needs some help. After two early m/c's, I am convinced that m/c's happen because the cells just didn't form correctly, and the pro didn't help.

That being said, I would still take the pro if my OB thought it might help.
