Looking to hear about grade-skipping experiences at MOCO Elementary schools.

We are considering skipping a grade at our MOCO school and I'm wondering whether you have done so and what your experience was. Was the school in agreement/easily convinced or approach you? Did your DC want to or resist? What were the teacher's reactions? TIA

We considered this, but found that for us, the magnets (starting in 4th grade) were a much better option both academically and socially.

yes - My child went to a highly gifted center and then to a middle school magnet.
One big advantage in the center/magnet is the amazing group of kids.
The center provided a unique environment that has been great for my child.
