Farmer's Market and Food Hall recs

Anonymous
Moving to DC in 2 weeks. Excited to be in a bigger city again, after spending a few pandemic years in a small rural town. We will be moving to Cleveland Park, but are willing to travel anywhere in the city for a great farmers market and/ or food hall. Which are your favorite markets to visit (and which days) and some of your favorite local vendors?

thank you!

-Farmer’s Market near DuPont Circle on Sundays
-Eastern Market, with the Sat/Sun flea markets

-When I really want an expansive experience, I go to Baltimore for Lexington Market and for the Sunday Farmer’s Market under the Jones Falls Expressway

Welcome to DC! There is a small farmer's market in Cleveland Park as well if you don't want to go far. We also like Union Market for the feel of a food hall (but more toward restaurants than veggies, although there is a little bit of that and some meat/fish to buy).
