Dumb question

Bought individually pouched, fully cooked Vicky’s Kitchen stuffed chicken breasts. They had it at Costco in the refrigerated case and I bought it around 6/2 and it’s been in my fridge. Is it ok to cook and eat tonight or tomorrow?

Exp on box says 6/25 but I’m not sure if that means it can really sit in the fridge and not freezer for 30 days?

And normally I guess I would smell and touch but in this case it’s fully cooked and in sauce and stuffed…

What’s the problem? The expiry date’s more than 2 weeks away.

I don't understand why you're asking this. You want to eat it on June 7 or 8 and it doesn't expire until June 25? What is the problem?

Sous vide foods have a long refrigerated shelf life. I am not familiar with the brand you've indicated but it sounds like it is sous vide and the date you've given sounds reasonable.

Thanks, I ate it! I did say it was a dumb question… not used to eating prepped foods that have a super long shelf life.
